Only 60km (37mi) from Vernon is superior camping at the secluded Mabel Lake Provincial Park. The lake, creek, forests and mountains offer many activities from fishing to hiking and more. There are 81 campsites accessible by vehicle available from April 1 to Oct 31, with the gate being closed during the season from 11pm to 7am. Sites are suitable for trailers and tents.
