Vernon Campgrounds

Located on the east side of Okanagan Lake, just a few miles south of Vernon, Ellison Provicial Park is a small park offering big recreational opportunities. Bring the camera along to take advantage of all the photo opportunities. Hiking, fishing, biking, canoeing, kayaking and more, are just a few of the recreational opportunities available here. Otter Bay, in Ellison Provincial Park, has a scuba-diving and snorkelling park. 71 campsites are offered and amenities include picnic tables, flush and pit toilets, fire pits, water and wood. The beach area has changing facilities.

Lakeside setting five kms north of Vernon on west shore of Swan Lake. Offering grassed and treed sites, tenting sites and pull throughs. 15 and 30 amp service aswell as full or partial hook-ups available. Also featuring free showers, laundry facilities, boat launch, canoe and paddleboat rentals and a store.

This campsite offers 70 sites and a day use and picnic are, all with views of Kalamalka lake. There are 2.6 km of trails available on-site.

Situated by Swan Lake Wildlife Refuge, Silver Star RV Park has many amenities that offer convenience such as cable hook-ups, 15 amp sites, 30 amp pull-through sites, games room and a heated pool. Canoes and paddleboats are available on Swan Lake.

Only ten minutes from downtown Vernon, near Silver Star Mountain Resort, and across from the BX Falls Regional Park, Cedar Falls Campground offers convenience and beauty. Clean sites are equipped with partial or full water, power and sewer for RVs and trailers. A cedar log building provides guests with washrooms, shower and laundry facilities. A quaint cabin is also available.

Located on the North end of swan lake on Hwy 97 just minutes north of Vernon, Swan Lake Resort is conveniently centered between Kelowna, Kamloops and Salmon Arm. Actives near by include waterslides, beaches, a casino, malls, golfing, ski hills and much more.

Only yards away from Kal Beach and Kalamalka Lake, Dutch's Campground is ideally situated. Along with a host of amenities, Dutch's also has an arcade, store, barbeque, cable hook-ups and full and partial hook-ups.

Located in a park-like setting, Big Chief is near many attractions, such as Kin Beach and Okanagan Lake. Daily, weekly and monthly rates are available.

Only 60km (37mi) from Vernon is superior camping at the secluded Mabel Lake Provincial Park. The lake, creek, forests and mountains offer many activities from fishing to hiking and more. There are 81 campsites accessible by vehicle available from April 1 to Oct 31, with the gate being closed during the season from 11pm to 7am. Sites are suitable for trailers and tents. Group tenting sites are also available.

Located on the Kalamalka lakefront, this resort offers RV and tent sites. The grounds are shaded and terraced. Features include a sandy beach, boat launch, moorage, watercraft rentals, full-hookups, showers, laundry and more.
